AIlluminate Daydream — Autonomous Story & Illustration Studio
Daydream is AIlluminate’s private, agent-orchestrated studio that autonomously writes original stories and generates cohesive illustrations. It emphasizes world-class setting design, character development, and outline craft, then builds each scene with multiple concept images for fast, high-fidelity iteration—without exposing your IP.
From a single prompt, Daydream assembles a canon-aware story bible, beat-accurate outlines, chapters, character sheets, location guides, and art direction packages—then renders concept illustration sets that match the text. All work stays private by default and exports to industry-standard formats for editing, layout, and publishing.
Table of contents:
From Prompt to Pages
Start with a vibe—“cozy solarpunk mystery in a floating market”—and Daydream drafts a premise, themes, and logline. It expands into a setting bible, character roster with arcs, and a three-act or episodic outline. Chapters are drafted in your chosen voice, while each key scene receives multiple concept illustrations exploring composition, mood, and palette.
Everything remains editable: lock a character, tweak a locale, or swap a plot beat. The agent re-syncs downstream chapters and illustration briefs without overwriting your manual edits.
Daydream preserves authorship while accelerating worldbuilding—text and art evolve together under one style bible.

Workflow Compatibility
Daydream meets authors, editors, and illustrators in the tools they already use:
- Writing: Markdown, DOCX, TXT; outline/beat sheets in CSV/JSON.
- Layout: ready-to-flow EPUB/PDF drafts; IDML/HTML exports for book design tools.
- Art: PNG/JPG/WebP, layered PSD/ORA (when configured), SVG for diagrams.
- Reference: character sheets, location maps, and scene cards as shareable packs.
Keep your editors, DCCs, and source control. Daydream automates scaffolding and keeps everything in sync.
Agentic Pipeline
How Daydream builds a book-ready package:
1) Setting Matrix
World rules, tone board, locales, history, and sensory motifs—outputs a concise setting bible.
2) Character Forge
Protagonists, supporting cast, goals, fears, relationships, visual motifs; arc beats per act.
3) Plot & Outline
Logline → beat sheet → scene list; options for Save-the-Cat, Kishōtenketsu, episodic arcs.
4) Scene Craft
For each scene: narrative brief, shot ideas, and multiple concept illustrations exploring composition and lighting.
5) Drafting & Revisions
Chapter prose in target voice; redlines preserve changes; continuity checks across POV, tense, and lore.
6) Art Direction
Style bible (brushwork, color keys, lenses); character and location turnarounds for consistency.
7) Export & Layout
Clean exports for editing, layout, and print/digital distribution; asset BOM and credits.

Limits & Guardrails
Daydream won’t overwrite human edits without approval and flags continuity risks (timeline drift, character voice shifts). It avoids imitating living artists unless explicitly authorized and surfaces sensitive-content checks for human review.
